We present for 2026 the new Evanlite MTB hubs for mountain biking. Straightpull version with Centerlock disc mount. The mechanism is based on the proven RATCHET system (36T as standard or optional 54T available in the wheel configurator).
Now available at an attractive price – cheaper than DT 350 (in the Evanlite MTB wheel configurator). The total weight of the Evanlite MTB hub set is 330 grams, which places them among very lightweight hub models. For comparison:
- DT 370 – 400 grams,
- DT 350 – 360 grams,
- Evanlite MTB – 330 grams,
- DT 240 – 310 grams.
LOWER WEIGHT – LOWER PRICE
Thanks to lightweight hub components and an optimized hub shell design, wheels built on Evanlite hubs offer clearly lower weight and a more affordable price.

CONSTRUCTION AND BEARINGS
Technically, the hubs use a RATCHET mechanism with two independent ratchet rings. This system is known for high reliability and precise engagement.
We use high-quality steel bearings from the well-known TPI brand, valued for durability. Their precise production ensures smooth rotation and low rolling resistance. This directly improves riding efficiency and bearing life in training and racing wheels.
BEARING SEALING
The bearings in Evanlite hubs are double sealed: from the outside and from the inside. This protects them effectively against dirt and moisture and increases their service life. Precisely matched end caps protect the bearings from direct contact with contamination and water. In addition, we use LLB type sealing (double labyrinth sealing) – a low-friction rubber seal that protects the bearing from the inner side.
COMPATIBILITY
The new hubs are available only in the most popular Boost axle standard (15x110 / 12x148).
Available freehub bodies: Shimano MTB 11s, Microspline, XD (DT freehub bodies are also compatible). The freehub body type can be selected directly in the configurator when choosing wheel specifications.
RATCHET SOUND
Hubs with a ratchet mechanism have a characteristic sound – check the 36T ratchet sound. The sound level can be adjusted by the amount of grease: less grease = louder sound, more grease = quieter operation.
Comparison with DT Swiss
DT Swiss hubs are considered a benchmark for quality and durability. When introducing Evanlite hubs, our goal was to offer an alternative that combines high build quality with lower weight and a more accessible price. Evanlite is a choice for riders who expect lightweight, durable wheels with good components, without going to the highest price level.
