At Evanlite, every wheelset is built individually. The building process is a series of demanding, hands-on stages, where we — as the manufacturer — control every single detail.

Our wheel-building department is a place of constant evolution. We invest in new solutions that allow us to refine details invisible at first glance, yet clearly felt in every kilometer — even after years of riding. The art of wheel building is the foundation of our success.

How our Craft Begins

The building process starts with the precise selection of components — rims, hubs, spokes, and nipples. At this stage, every single part is carefully inspected for manufacturing quality.

The wheel then moves through multiple assembly stations. One wheelset passes through the hands of several specialists, each with years of experience. This division of work allows us to achieve the highest level of precision and effectively eliminate potential quality issues.

Our Building Process

Truing a wheel is one thing. Building a wheel that maintains stable spoke tension and correct performance after years of riding — that is true craft.

At Evanlite, this process is handled by a team of experienced specialists, working with precision tools and dedicated measurement stations to ensure long-term reliability.

Quality comes first

Wheel Truing

The key stage is the perfect balancing of spoke tension — this is what determines the wheel’s long-term durability.

We work within extremely tight tolerances, controlling lateral and radial runout as well as even tension on both sides of the wheel.

Thanks to this, every wheelset meets a standard not only of high precision, but above all structural stability built to last.

Maximum Performance

Wheel Stabilization

We apply a series of precise processes that allow the spokes to fully settle during production — not during riding. Everything happens in controlled conditions, long before the wheel hits the road or trail.

After truing and setting the correct tension, each wheel goes through multi-stage stress relief using a press, followed by another round of truing.

This full cycle — load, release, correction — is repeated as many times as necessary until the wheel reaches complete balance and long-term spoke tension stability.

Our Quality Standards

Testing for Maximum Safety

Our priority is maximum efficiency — the lowest possible weight combined with high resistance to loads.

Every model and component we offer is selected to meet strict testing standards, including tests performed beyond the wheel’s intended use. This also includes a 40 J impact simulation on a rim without a tire, carried out in accordance with UCI testing procedures.

We have spent hundreds of hours designing and testing Evanlite wheels, which is why we are confident in their quality and performance in real-world riding conditions.
